Stop At: Mezquita Cathedral de Cordoba, Calle del Cardenal Herrero 1, Cordoba 14003 Spain
In the afternoon, guided tour of the most famous monument in Córdoba, the Great Mosque Cathedral, the old Aljama. Mosque built between the 8th and 10th centuries by the Umayyads of Córdoba, converted into a cathedral in 1236, a World Heritage Site since 1984. The Great Mosque of Córdoba represents a unique artistic achievement due to its size, and the great audacity of the height of its ceilings. . It is an irreplaceable testimony of the Caliphate of Córdoba and is the most emblematic monument of Islamic religious architecture. It was a very unusual type of mosque that testifies to the presence of Islam in the West. The Great Mosque of Córdoba was also very influential in Western Islamic art from the 8th century as well as in the neo-Arabic style in the 19th century.

Stop At: Centro Storico Di Cordova, Cordoba Spain
We will end the visit with a walk through the historic center. We will see the Puerta del Puente, Roman Bridge and the Torre de la Calahorra (Qala'at al-hurriya), which is a fortress conceived as the entrance and protection of the Roman Bridge of Córdoba, it was declared a Historical-Artistic Site in 1931, along with the Roman bridge and the Puerta del Puente, houses the headquarters of the Living Museum of Al-Andalus. It is part of the Historical Center of Córdoba, which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1994. We will go to the White Quarter of San Basilio to visit a typical Córdoba Patio (Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO) and a filigree workshop in silver, typical from Cordoba.

Day 3: CÓRDOBA - SEVILLE - CÓRDOBA

We begin our journey towards Seville - the Arab "Ishbiliyah".

Stop At: Real Alcazar de Sevilla, Patio de Banderas, s/n, Seville 41004 Spain
Guided tour of the Real Alcázar, one of the most representative monumental complexes of the city, amalgamating influences ranging from the Arab period, late medieval Mudejar, to the Renaissance, the Baroque and the 19th century. The palace features exquisite Mudejar and late Mudejar architecture, characterized by its intricate plaster details, tiles, and horseshoe arches. In it we can contemplate its impressive gardens of Arab influence, the Patio de la Montería which is the main entrance to the Alcazar, the Patio de las Doncellas, the Sala de los Embajadores and the Mudejar Palace.

Stop At: Seville, Seville Spain
In the afternoon we will visit by horse-drawn carriage.
Panoramic tour of the city, stopping at some strategic points. We will pass by the highlights of Seville: Plaza de España, Maria Luisa Park, Giralda and Torre del Oro next to the Guadalquivir River.

Stop At: Seville, Seville Spain
We will visit the historic center on foot, the Barrio de Santa Cruz, the most picturesque and charming part of the city, with narrow, winding, cobblestone streets and whitewashed houses.
We will admire the magnificent Torre de la Giralda, an old minaret, a masterpiece of Almohad architecture (the lower two thirds of this tower belong to the minaret of the old Mosque of Seville, the upper third is a construction added in the Christian era to house the bells) , stands next to the “Santa María de la Sede” cathedral, the largest Gothic building in Europe that houses the tomb of Christopher Columbus.

After our enriching visit to Seville, we return to Córdoba, taking with us the memories of the exquisite architectural details of the Real Alcázar and the vibrant energy of its streets.

Guided tour of the main jewel of this city: The Alhambra, the Nasrid Palaces and the Generalife gardens, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, along with the residential neighborhood of Albaycín, in 1984. These world-renowned palaces are the example best preserved of Moorish art and architecture.
Nasrid architecture marked the end of the glorious period, which began with the Umayyads in Córdoba in the 8th century.
To visit the Alhambra is to immerse yourself in a world of architectural beauty, rich and cultural history, and enjoy a unique atmosphere that will captivate us.

Stop At: Barrio Del Albaicin, Carrera del Darro, Granada Spain
In the afternoon we will take a walk. We will visit El Albaicín.
The Albaicín is a labyrinth of narrow cobblestone streets and charming squares that stretch across the hills in front of the Alhambra. This neighborhood is a living testimony of Moorish and medieval architecture, with its white houses adorned with Moorish details and patios full of flowers. From the Mirador de San Nicolás in the Albaicín, one of the most iconic views of the Alhambra is offered at sunset.

We will also visit El Sacromonte located in the hills east of the Albaicín, Sacromonte is known for its troglodyte caves, many of which have been converted into unique homes

Visit to the archaeological site of the Caliphal City of Medina Azahara (MADINAT AL-ZAHRA), 20 minutes from Córdoba, (the Luminous City, World Heritage Site since 2018). Medina Azahara was built by the Umayyad Caliph Abd al-Rahman III to show his power to the world in the year 936. After prospering for several years, it was razed during the civil war that ended the caliphate in 1009-1010. The remains of the city were forgotten for almost 1,000 years until their rediscovery at the beginning of the 20th century.

Just 70 kilometers from Madrid. Guided tour of the City of Three Cultures, TOLEDO, and its main monuments (full day). The Historic City of Toledo, repository of more than 2000 years of History, World Heritage Site by UNESCO (1986). Each and every one of the cultures and peoples that have passed through Toledo, gave the city a presence composed of a rich architectural and artistic heritage.

Guided Tour: "In the Footprints of Muslim and Mudejar Madrid." Enjoy a journey back in time to discover the most magical, mysterious and Muslim Madrid. Madrid is the only European capital founded by the Arabs in the 9th century. Its location, urban design and even the origin of the Virgin of Almudena are part of the legacy of Arab Madrid, which for 200 years was a fortified city, key in the defense of Al Andalus.
The route runs through the oldest monuments in Madrid, both Islamic and Mudejar, often outside the main tourist circuits. On our guided tour we will walk through Latina (old Morería), as if we were in a Medina.
You will be surprised to know that the most traditional symbols of Madrid have an Islamic past.
